Jovic walks out of the “royal door”

Italian football club Fiorentina announced the signing of Serbian international striker Luka Jovic from Real Madrid, the Spanish league champion.
“Fiorentina is pleased to announce the contract with Luka Jovic from Real Madrid on a permanent contract,” Fiorentina said in a statement, without specifying the duration or value of the contract.
And Italian media indicated that Fiorentina did not pay compensation to Real Madrid, in exchange for Jovic, who has two years left on his contract, noting that the royal club will receive 50 percent of the future sale value of the Serbian striker.
Jovic, 24, who moved to Real Madrid in the summer of 2019 from Eintracht Frankfurt, failed to establish himself in the royal squad, scoring only three goals in two seasons before being loaned to Eintracht last year.
In contrast to his career with the Royal Club, the Serbian striker starred with his country’s national team, scoring nine goals in 26 matches.
Jovic starred remarkably with Eintracht Frankfurt in the 2018-2019 season, scoring 17 goals in the “Bundesliga” in particular.
Real Madrid contracted the Serbian talent until 2025, but he never succeeded in confirming the hopes placed in him by the royal team, who spent 60 million euros to bring him in the summer of 2019.
