Journalist Laetitia Krupa died at the age of 48, franceinfo learned on Wednesday March 20. She worked for several media, including Franceinfo. “For us, she was above all a voice, energetic and smiling, of the Informed, salutes the management of Franceinfo radio. A show in which she had often appeared, and which she had sometimes presented, with confidence and talent.” She covered the 2022 campaign, once more for franceinfo: her analyzes fed into election evenings as well as the “C tout com” podcast, with Gaspard Gantzer.

Laetitia Krupa began her journalistic career as a reporter for Radio France, then turned to television (iTélé, Canal+, France Télévisions, franceinfo and Public Sénate). She announced in January 2023 that she would be stepping down from the air for health reasons. “It doesn’t just happen to other people,” she then wrote on her Instagram account. In April 2023, she announced her recovery: “I crossed the finish line and I’m doing well. See you in a few (short) weeks in the post and on the screens. I can’t wait.” She returned to the air on franceinfo and Public Senate at the end of 2023. At the start of 2024, she confided “start the year by resuming the fight” and made an appointment for “beautiful projects”, a book in May and a podcast in June.

“His solar presence, his free tone, his pugnacity”

Jean-Philippe Baille, director of franceinfo and director of information at Radio France, shares his “tremendous sadness”. “Her dynamism was at the service of the news, her talent at the service of the news and her good humor at the service of all. A professional who knew how to decipher and analyze in Les informed de franceinfo.” On X (formerly Twitter), the production company of Media the magJara Prod, said “in mourning”. “His energy, his laughter, his sunny presence, his free tone, his pugnacity, his love of the profession, were precious to the journalism that we defend.” Christopher Baldelli, president of Public Senate, greets “a very great professional, a journalist very committed to her work to help people understand the world and its issues, without forgetting very great human qualities.”
