To close the project “Author residences at the School”proposed by the National Book Center and supported by the Ministries of Culture and National Education, the pupils of 6e and 5e SEGPA from Collège Max Jacob de Josselin traveled to Port-Louis, a city very dear to the author in residence since the end of April, Marion Guillot, of “Editions de Minuit”. The students made a treasure hunt, prepared by their teachers, Ms. Fabienne Cadoret, librarian, and Ms. Stéphanie Le Duc, teacher from specialized schools. They thus explored the very pretty city of Port-Louis, from the Port of Locmalo, to the Jardin de La Muse, passing through the Lohic district. They walked past the café having inspired Changer d’air wrote in 2015 and then visited the Citadel and the Maritime Museum.

The treasure hunt ended with the discovery of the latter in Mrs. Guillot’s beach cabin, after the students had brilliantly solved the puzzles: they were delighted to offer her a collection with all the writings produced in his presence at the College. The SEGPA students and their teachers were delighted by this day, rich in learning and discoveries for the students, who were also able to go dip their feet in the ocean, for their greatest happiness. One day perhaps a vocation as a writer will arise for one of them, because many students already like to express themselves in writing.

“Thank you to the CNL for proposing such projects for schools and to Marion Guillot for her involvement! “, launch the teachers of the college.
