Joshua Zirkzee joins Bologna FC!

FC Bayern has found a buyer for Joshua Zirkzee! According to consistent media reports, the 21-year-old Dutchman moves to Serie A for FC Bologna.

The week-long transfer poker around Joshua Zirkzee seems to be over. As “Sky” reporter Florian Plettenberg reports, Munich and FC Bologna have reached an almost “100 percent agreement”. “SPORT1” has also confirmed the forthcoming change.

Bayern collects 8.5 million euros and secures a matching right

According to Plettenberg, Bayern will receive a transfer fee of almost 8.5 million euros. In addition, the German record champion has secured a resale clause of 50 percent. The two clubs only have to work out the final details before the deal is officially announced. The Dutchman is said to have already reached an agreement with Bologna and will receive a 4-year contract with the Serie A club until 2026. According to “SPORT1” information, FCB also has a so-called “matching right”. That means: If Bologna intends to sell Zirkzee in the future, FC Bayern can see the potential offers from other clubs and decide whether they want to make an offer themselves.

Zirkzee has recently been associated with numerous clubs, including VfB Stuttgart and RSC Anderlecht. It is a comeback in Serie A for the young attacker. The striker was already on loan at Parma Calcio for six months in the 2020/21 season. Due to numerous injuries, however, this only came to four missions and remained without a hit.
