Visakhapatnam: In the first match of the Twenty20 India-Australia series, Australia built a huge score on the strength of Josh Inglis, who filled the field with a century. Australia scored 208 runs for the loss of three wickets in the stipulated over. India won the toss and elected to bowl.
Steve Smith, who became the opener for Australia, scored a half-century. Smith scored 52 runs and was run out. Matthew Short 13, Josh Inglis 110, Marcus Stoinis 7 and Tim David 19. Marcus Stoinis scored 110 runs off 50 balls. Prasad Krishna and Ravi Bishnoi took a wicket each for India.
Inglis, who reached his century in 47 balls, also holds the record for the fastest century by an Aussie player in Twenty20 Internationals.
