Josh Hartnett has always preferred his family over his film career. “I chose to have a life. That was my priority,” he emphasized in 2021 in an interview with the lifestyle and fashion magazine “Mr. Porter”. Thus, the actor and his wife, Tamsin Egerton, 35, are also practiced at balancing parenthood amidst four small children, household duties, and careers.
Nevertheless, it is a challenge. Speaking to the US magazine “People” on the sidelines of the “Trap: No Way Out” premiere on Wednesday, July 24, in New York, Josh Hartnett explained: “We’ve […] managed it a few times. It’s never easy. The newborn needs what the newborn needs.”

The joy of family life with six members is, despite everything, his priority. “We have so much fun with our children that it feels like a dream come true to have this outside of filming,” says Hartnett. Particularly when the themes, like in his new psychological thriller, deal with dark subjects like capturing a serial killer.
Josh Hartnett has been living in Britain for years with his wife and their four kids, which is also the home of Tamsin Egerton, who has also celebrated success as an actress. For her, the Minnesota-born actor left his hometown. However, their kids are not just fond of activities in nature. They are also fans of Taylor Swift, 34. In a conversation with “The Hollywood Reporter” earlier this July, Hartnett revealed that he had taken his kids to London for the concert. “It was wild,” he says. “I’ve never experienced anything like it: 90,000 people in Wembley Stadium going crazy, including my two daughters.”

Wife Tamsin reveals deep guilt as a mother
There, Hartnett’s wife also shared that her kids would prefer playing, painting, and baking in nature and revealed that she found it most difficult becoming a mother for the second time.
I think I found [child] 1-2 the hardest because you’re torn between the child that made you a mother and the new baby that needs you as a mother more than ever. The guilt as a mother was very great! [Child] 2-3 was a wonderful gift,”

Josh Hartnett and Tamsin Egerton met in 2011 while filming their movie “The Lovers” and apparently fell in love. After rumors about their relationship, they confirmed in 2013 that they were indeed a couple. In 2021, they exchanged vows.
