Jorge Rodríguez proposes electoral law reform in the National Assembly

The President of the National Assembly, Jorge Rodriguezproposed reforming the electoral laws.

The goal of the change will be “to ensure that no foreigner ever again comes to take a position on anything that has to do with the Venezuelan elections,” Rodriguez said.

The statement was made during the session of Tuesday, August 13, during the debate to consider cyberfascism.

“If anything immediately threatens freedom of expression, it is this spiral of silence and the echo chamber” of social networks, said Rodriguez.

He questioned how many children were currently using social media.

He reviewed the manipulation through stimulation of neurotransmitters in humans, which is done by means of the so-called “likes”, which abound in social networks.

He criticized the report by the Carter Center and the UN mission.

The mission said it had said the report was private, but now it has announced that it will be public.

“Now they come with international pressure. We are black belts, fifth dan, in international pressure. Come with international pressure so that we can beat them up,” challenged the president of the AN.
