Prima Pramac Racing RACER Jorge Martin is aiming for speed and stable performance at the French GP, which will be held at the Le Mans Circuit, France, this weekend.

This refers to his performance at the Spanish GP in Jerez, two weeks ago, when he fell and might not compete for victory as usual.

“At that time, I felt confident in the race, but then I fell, and that’s what happened. However, the most important thing now is that we have speed and are fast on every track,” said Martin, quoted from the official MotoGP statement, Friday (10/5).

“I am very confident that we will be fast once more here (Le Mans). Every track is different, but I always feel fast, so I feel relaxed and happy,” he added.

On the other hand, 2024 Spanish GP champion Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati Lenovo) admitted that he was confident to face the top racers this season in the fifth series of MotoGP 2024.

According to the defending champion, the main value as a professional racer is the ability not to immediately become complacent with victory, and not to stay down for a long time following suffering defeat.

“One of my strongest points as a racer is that I don’t care if I lose time or if I crash the previous day, because I know if everything goes well, I can fight back and fight to win,” said Bagnaia.

“Last year, every weekend I was more or less like this on Friday where we struggled, but then we were able to fight for the top positions in the race,” he added.

Regarding the upcoming race at Le Mans, Bagnaia said that this track is always special because apart from having unique characteristics, he is also happy to see spectators filling the circuit arena throughout the weekend.
