Jorge Luis Pinto: statements about James Rodríguez and his love for football | Colombians Abroad

There is very little left for the end of the transfer market in Europe to become official. Undoubtedly, this is complicated news for the future of some Colombian players who hope to return to elite soccer, and say that they are still present in the old continent within the most important leagues on a global level. However, if they don’t make it to a change of scenery, their current clubs will be eagerly awaiting them with great talent.

That is the case of James David Rodríguez at Al-Rayyan, as the club maintains that it wants the Colombian player to show the respect he had when he signed with the Qatari team and fulfill his contract, which still has two years left. James relapsed once more with a soleus injury, the one that always takes away his continuity, and that has reduced his activity since March. Many rumors appeared in that moment of inactivity, but Nicolás Córdova and the club’s doctors reassured him, maintaining that he would continue in Qatar.

A few hours before the end of the summer transfer window, James Rodríguez had a chat with Edu Aguirre, a Spanish journalist from Chiringuito de Jugones. In the interview, they asked him regarding his fanaticism for Real Madrid, and, in addition, they told him that if Valencia offered him, he would accept or not. James’ response was that without thinking he would walk to the team that had just signed Edinson Cavani. A dream to play with the Uruguayan and assist him, mentioned the Colombian creative midfielder, who even began to analyze where he might fit into Gennaro Gattuso’s game system.

Magic they would have to do so that in less than a day they can convince Peter Lim in search of a space for James Rodríguez, for which it would be very difficult to think regarding their link. The Colombian press has been latent of the ‘offer’ of James to Valencia, some have criticized it, and others it sounds good, because who would not want him to recover his football in Europe.

Jorge Luis Pinto spoke for Caracol’s VBar, where he touched on the subject of James Rodríguez and the other encouraging scenario, that of Luis Díaz at Liverpool. Regarding the issue of the Al-Rayyan flyer regarding the possibility of going to Valencia, Pinto exploded, and left him a message so that, from now on, he begins to change his attitude on the court and in training sessions.

A dart that surely the Colombian midfielder is not going to like, but that can be so true because of the way the former Real Madrid is seen on the pitch. Worried regarding an injury, perhaps, the lack of desire has been present. His magic and talent are not in doubt, but he is asked for a change of attitude, “what is happening with James hurts me. Coming from there with what he is earning is an immense sacrifice. If he wants to compete, he has to start training because he doesn’t train… he doesn’t train with dedication, with love, and one always has to love football”.

Speaking of another player, he analyzed the current status of Luis Díaz, and his relationship with Mohamed Salah, “he plays very far. I have not seen a game possibility in which he is close and that he denies the ball. What happens is that they have already identified Luis, they are already dubbing him. For example, what Real Madrid did to him in the Champions League final. Unfortunately, they left him far away, Thiago did not accompany him and the left back did not come close either. For the rest, I don’t see that they are denying the ball to Luis Díaz”.
