Jordan’s Crown Prince Al-Hussein bin Abdullah and Saudi woman Rajawa Al-Saif have tied the knot.

According to the report of Al-Arabiya News, the marriage ceremony of the royal couple was held in the Zahran Palace in the capital city of Amman, where friends, family members and famous personalities of the world participated.

Among the prominent personalities were US First Lady Jill Biden, Prince William of Great Britain and his wife Kate Middleton and Sheikha Moza bint Nasser, mother of the Emir of Qatar.

Apart from this, members of the royal families of Belgium, Spain, Denmark, Holland and Japan also participated.

The wedding ceremony began at 9 am local time, where the King and Queen of Jordan welcomed guests at Zahran Palace. The Jordanian Armed Forces welcomed the guests with traditional songs.

The royal couple and their father then signed a marriage contract known as the ‘Kitab al-Kitab’ and then the 28-year-old Jordanian crown prince and the Saudi woman put a ring on each other.

In the marriage ceremony, the groom wore a military uniform while the bride wore a white full-sleeved gown by a Lebanese designer.

After the marriage, the royal couple left for the Al Hussainiya Palace in a cluster of special red Land Rovers and motorbikes on the capital’s main highway.

At the same time, thousands of people welcomed the Jordanian crown prince and his wife, both of whom thanked the people for their love by touching their cars.

Large screens were installed across the country to watch the wedding ceremony live, where hundreds of people gathered, many holding flags and wearing red and white scarves.

Yesterday was a public holiday in Jordan so that after the wedding ceremony, crowds of people could see the newlyweds in red Land Rover jeeps and join in the royal family’s joy.

On the occasion of the royal wedding of Jordan’s Crown Prince Al-Hussein bin Abdullah II and Rajawa Al-Saif, a special stamp was placed on the passports of pilgrims coming to the country.

The stamp affixed to the passport read ‘Jordan’s Royal Wedding’. The long-awaited Jordanian royal wedding has garnered regional and global attention.
