The 24-year-old has four goals and nine assists for 13 points in 33 games this season, totaling 82 hits and posting a +17 differential. The Wild’s second-round pick in the 2015 draft, the 50th overall, Greenway has 98 points in 243 career regular-season games.
The American was eligible for restricted free agent status this year. He completes a two-year, $4.2 million deal.
Before visiting the Chicago Blackhawks in the evening, Minnesota was ranked third in the Central Division.
