Jordan buys 60,000 tons of wheat and seeks to buy 120,000

A government official told Archyde.com on Tuesday that Jordan had bought 60,000 tons of wheat in an international tender from Vitera, at $347 a ton.

The official said the shipment will be in the second half of February.

Dealers said that Ameropa also participated in the tender.

Jordan has also tendered for the purchase of 120,000 tons of wheat for shipment in March and April, and the tender closes on September 13.
