Jong City has good memories of a visit to Katwijk

After last Saturday’s match, in which Jong Almere City FC managed to retain a miraculous point in the match once morest leader Spakenburg, an away match is scheduled this week. Danny Schenkel’s team will take on Quick Boys in Katwijk, and the Almeers have good memories of Katwijk.

Last week it was 2-2 once morest Spakenburg and as a result the Flevolanders have been undefeated in the past three games, Jong City would like to continue that series once morest Quick Boys. Earlier this season, football was also played once morest Quick Boys. On the Ruitenheer Academy field the final score was 2-0 in favor of Jong City. We have also traveled to Katwijk before, not for a match at Quick Boys but at VV Katwijk. In that match they won 1-3. The people of Almere hope to preserve those memories and do not want to let them get stranded in Katwijk.

Although Jong Almere City FC took a nice point last week, it has dropped one place in the Betnation Division. With seven games left to play, Jong City is in sixth place with 43 points. Quick Boys is a few places higher in the rankings, occupying third place with 52 points. The Flevolanders are in good form, they are undefeated in the last three games. The same applies to the blue and white, they managed to win twice in the last three games.

The battle for enforcement is still very exciting in the Betnation Division. Young Sparta also played a draw last week, so the gap is still three points. Finishing in the top nine or above Jong Sparta is enough for the Almeers. Anything can happen there, places 6 to 11 are four points apart.

The kick-off will be at Nieuw Zuid sports park at 3:00 PM.
