He is in his early 30s, and with a farm in Snevre between Bjergby and Horne in Vendsyssel, there is enough to look after.
But it could be a bit more fun to have other people on the farm to talk to than your dog.
So Jonas Ellitsgaard Jensen accepted the challenge in stride, when a friend had signed him up for the TV2 program “Farmer looking for Love”.
Now the time has come when the 13th and final episode rolls over the screen: Here Jonas has to make the difficult choice in the shaved women’s field: Should it be Stine or Katrine?
Too old
– It’s a really difficult choice I have to make – because there are two beautiful girls who want me. It’s a luxury problem, as he says at the beginning of the episode.

After that, it’s time for the last and decisive dates: 33-year-old Stine is invited to Kornets Hus south of Hjørring, where the couple will have fun, kiss and talk while raspberry canapés are baked.
– They tasted almost as good as you, says Jonas cheerfully.
Meanwhile, the other candidate – Katrine – is waiting at home on the farm.

– I feel a little tight that Jonas is away alone with Stine, she admits.
Needing to pass the time, she cleans up a bit in Jonas’s fridge, where bachelor life has materialized, among other things, in dressing that is a few years past its best-before date.
Lives in Stenum
Since the dates are to be with Katrine, it takes place in the dunes by the North Sea – here, too, there are cozy talks and kisses.
And it is Katrine that the choice ends up falling on – and then the two otherwise go on a girlfriend’s weekend in Aarhus with everything from street food to trampoline jumping.
Filming for the program stopped at the end of July, and the big question is now: How are things going with Jonas and Katrine?
– Well, we’re still together, Jonas reveals, when Nordjyske contacts him.
Katrine – who has two children aged three and seven respectively from a previous relationship – lives in Stenum near Brønderslev, so the couple are lucky that the distance is not that long.
When she does not have her children, she is on the farm in Snevre with Jonas – and otherwise he also visits Stenum every now and then.
When Nordjyske spoke to him earlier this year, he dreamed of finding a girlfriend who would have a child with him.

– Fortunately, Katrine would like to help become a mother again – and give me the experience of becoming a parent. But she is 31 years old now, and wants to be a young mother, so it probably won’t be ten years, says the wooed farmer with a smile.
If you ask Jonas what the best thing about participating in the program was, it is naturally that he met Katrine.
– The worst thing has been that we had to go quietly with the doors for many months, because people were not allowed to know what it ended up with. So now I’m looking forward to the fact that we can go to bigger events together, it says.
