Indonesian President Joko Widodo introduced President-elect Prabowo Subianto to delegates at the 2nd Indonesia-Africa Forum (IAF) Gala Dinner at the Intercontinental Bali Resort, Badung Regency, Bali, Sunday (1/9) evening.

Indonesia will host the 2nd Indonesia-Africa Forum (IAF) High-Level Forum (FTT) held by the Government in Nusa Dua, Bali, on 1-3 September 2024.

“Everyone, I welcome you to Bali, to Indonesia and thank you for your presence here. It is an honor for Indonesia to host the 2nd Indonesia-Africa Forum Summit to advance inclusive and sustainable global development,” Jokowi said, via the Presidential Secretariat’s YouTube channel.

Jokowi said that Indonesia remains committed to strengthening cooperation and solidarity with countries in the African region. He also emphasized that this commitment will also be continued by the next government.

“Therefore, on this happy occasion, allow me to introduce the President-elect of Indonesia, Mr. Prabowo Subianto who will be inaugurated next month and will lead Indonesia in the future,” Jokowi said. (P-5)
