Indonesian President Joko (Jokowi) explained the meaning behind his speech which mentioned the sentence “usually when they come in large numbers, when they are about to leave, they are left in large numbers” which he said when attending the 3rd Congress of the Nasdem Party some time ago.

“Like this, so they come in large numbers, right? They also leave in large numbers,” said Jokowi, after inaugurating the Leuwikeris Dam, Tasikmalaya Regency, West Java, today.

Jokowi explained that his sentence had more of a meaning that mutual cooperation between the entire community was very necessary, both in times of happiness and when there were many problems.

“What I mean is that the mutual cooperation of the entire community is very necessary. Don’t just do it when there’s something happy, do it together. But when there are many problems, don’t do it together anymore. Everyone should work together, solve them together, find solutions together,” said Jokowi.

Previously, during the 3rd Nasdem Congress, Jokowi had spoken about this matter in front of the General Chairman of the Nasdem Party, Surya Dharma Paloh, and all cadres.

“Usually they come in large numbers, and finally when they are about to leave, they are left in large numbers. But I am sure that is not the case with Mr. Surya Paloh, not with Bang Surya, and not with NasDem,” said Jokowi. (Try/P-2)
