“Joker: Folie à Deux” Trailer Featuring Lady Gaga

The Warner Bros. studio released a nearly three-minute video with lots of music and a strong interaction between Joaquin Phoenix and Lady Gaga. They dance together to a Sinatra song and kiss, alternating with dark scenes in the prison and on the streets of Gotham City.

“Joker: Folie à Deux” directed by Todd Phillips is set to hit theaters in early October. Phoenix (49) returns in the role of failed comedian Arthur Fleck, who lives on the fringes of society as Batman’s opponent in “Joker.” Now he is locked up in Arkham Asylum. Lady Gaga (38, “A Star is Born”) plays the character Harley Quinn.

In the Batman universe, Quinn befriends the mentally ill Joker in an institution. Since she saw him for the first time, she no longer feels so alone, says Quinn in the trailer for the violent scene. The term “Folie à Deux” describes a mental disorder that is transmitted from an affected person to a close person. With his “Joker” role, Phoenix won the Oscar for Best Actor in 2020.
