After the resounding success of Joker, a film directed by Todd Phillips and starring Joaquin Phoenix, everyone is still paying attention to updates on the sequel that will include Lady Gaga as Harley Quinn. Now in full Comic-Con Experience 2023, a new image of Joker has been revealed: Folie à Deux.
A promotional poster for the sequel that has been labeled a musical has begun to circulate through social networks, so this time we will see Arthur Fleck enter a new genre, while continuing to terrorize Gotham City.
The image in question shows a gloomy mouth with reddish lips, inside the word “Coringuei”, a Brazilian expression that can be translated in many ways, but one of them that gives context to the film is “I took the path of the Joker.”
In the background there are also countless “Ha Ha Ha” sounds, a reference to the classic laugh that defines the Batman villain and that has accompanied him through comics and film and television versions.
So far no further details have been revealed regarding the premiere of Joker: Folie à Deux, but it is expected to hit theaters on October 4, 2024, and will also star Catherine Keener, Brendan Gleeson and Bill Smitrovich.
