Jojo said that the key to victory was because he tried to play more patiently and use more tactics in each point. On the opposing side, he continued, it was also seen that in today’s match there was more pressure.
“This is an advantage for me, tomorrow I will face Lu Guang Zu, he is quite a good player, quite tenacious in taking the ball, it is not easy to face him,” he said.
“So I have to play more patiently, calmer and have to try to reduce my own mistakes,” he continued.
Meanwhile, Indonesian women’s singles, Putri Kusuma Wardani, managed to beat Japan’s representative, Aya Ohori, in two straight games, 21-19, 21-18. Due to this result, Jojo and Putri advanced to the last 16 of the 2024 Denmark Open. (Ndf/M-4)
