Joint statements in the peristyle of the Parliament for the head of K.O. SYRIZA- PS Nikos Pappa and the SYRIZA Member of State, Popi Tsapanidou, after her swearing-in, in the Plenary.
The new president of K.O. of SYRIZA-Progressive Alliance, Nikos Pappasstated that “from today the Popi Tsapanidou is a member of the Parliamentary Group of SYRIZA-Progressive Alliance. He is a worthy member of the faction and with his competence, which he has proven in the past, he will improve our possibilities to intervene in the Parliament and to communicate the positions of SYRIZA, on many issues, to society”.
According to enikos, SYRIZA State MP Popi Tsapanidou, for her part, stated that “I am also taking up my duties. I was given a first briefing by the president of the Parliamentary Group, Nikos Pappa, and the director of the K.O., Thanasis Moraitis, in a very good atmosphere about how we will work in the future. I am determined to give my best and to work with all my strength, serving the interests of the Greek people.”
Mrs. Tsapanidou was sworn in as a SYRIZA State Member of Parliament, as first runner-up on the ballot, after the resignation of Mr. Othonas Iliopoulos.
