The joint concert of the Pipers of the Three Republics in Haapsalu

1-17 Until November, the Estonian Traditional Music Center will take three musicians chosen as the Republic’s Musician to every concert tour around Estonia. In 2018, they have been crowned the first Pillemie of the Republic in history Juhan Uppinwho won the title in 2020 Martin Arak and earned an honorary degree in 2022 Garden in Krüs. Three Pillimees of the Republic will come to delight the Haapsalu audience with their music and songs on Friday, November 8. The concert in Haapsalu Cultural Center starts at 19:00.

Juhan Uppin’s “everyday” instrument is a Teppo-type wind instrument, and the “Sunday instrument” is a kandle. However, he promises to bring some other favorite instruments with him to the concerts as a surprise. Martin Araku is also known as Kandle-Oss, whose beloved hobby has become playing folk kandle like his forefathers. However, behind the solid facade lies a gentle soul and a warm heart, which is also kindly open to the listeners. Kert Krüsban works both as a soloist and in ensembles and shares his virtuoso skills in several music schools across Estonia.
