We invite you to join the September 9 Walk to End Alzheimer’s on October 28 to benefit the Alzheimer’s Association North Central Texas Chapter. All ages and abilities are welcome, and registration is free. Finding a location near you is easy. There are multiple dates and locations throughout North Texas for you to choose from. Come be part of the walk that inspires.
The March to End Alzheimer’s is held annually. It’s the largest awareness event in the world, welcoming more than 600 communities across the country to raise money for Alzheimer’s care, support and research. Participants committed to defeating the disease carry flowers across the country from the Garden of Promise. The Garden of Promise is a hands-on, mission-focused activity that allows participants to bring flowers that represent their pledge to remember, honor, care for, and fight for Alzheimer’s patients and their caregivers.
With funds raised during the awareness walk, the Alzheimer’s Association is able to help advance research into methods of prevention, treatment, and ultimately finding a cure.
