COMMUNITY. The 1re Baby Day was a great success, being presented in Saint-Georges, Vallée-Jonction and Thetford Mines, on March 27 and 28.
These days were intended to allow the organization Le Berceau to collect donations to meet the basic needs of toddlers. The organization received more than 2,000 diapers, as well as a good quantity of infant formula, cereals, wet towels and baby hygiene products. An amount of $6,000 in donations was also raised during these two days.
Considering that the cost of living continues to rise, Le Berceau wants babies to have everything they need and pursues its mandate to support young mothers aged 25 and under in the prenatal and postnatal periods, as well as their children.
