The Tobacco Free Month campaign, proposed by Public Health France and Tobacco Info Service, will take place from November 1 to 30, 2023. Its objective: to encourage smokers to quit smoking by supporting them for 30 days with adapted and personalized advice. As smoking is a risk factor for developing type 2 diabetes and the leading cause of mortality and cardiovascular disease in people with diabetes, the French Diabetics Federation encourages you to participate!
Tobacco-Free Month: a free system to encourage smoking cessation
30 days: this is the length of time needed for withdrawal symptoms to begin to fade. For this eighth edition, the Tobacco Free Month operation encourages smokers to initiate this withdrawal and then continue it for as long as possible. Registrations for this operation are open!
Registration will allow you to benefit free of charge:
a consultation with a smoking cessation professional, a quit kit with a 40-day program, advice to help you gently quit, a support community on social networks.
More than 87,000 people have already registered for the 2023 edition!
It’s never too late to quit smoking, every little step brings you closer to quitting for good.
Take on this challenge and, like Jean-Arnaud, share your experience with us!
