“Now the visit of Boris Johnson in Kyiv has begun with a bilateral meeting with President Zelensky,” Sibeha said on Facebook.
A picture showed Zelensky and Johnson holding face-to-face talks on the developments in Ukraine.
For its part, the British government said that the British Prime Minister was in Kyiv as a gesture of “solidarity” with the Ukrainian people.
She added, “Johnson is discussing in Kyiv the long-term support for Ukraine .. He will also discuss providing more financial and military assistance to Ukraine.”
Earlier, the British Prime Minister revealed additional military reinforcements to Ukraine by sending additional anti-armor missiles and drones.
“Russia’s crimes in Ukraine will not remain unpunished,” Johnson said at a press conference with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, while Schulz condemned the “horrific” bombing of the Kramatorsk station.
Fifty people, including five children, were killed in the missile attack on the Kramatorsk railway station in eastern Ukraine, where civilians were being evacuated, according to the region’s governor.
Russia denied carrying out the strike and accused Ukraine of “deliberately” bombing the station, describing the operation as a “provocation”.
