British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has announced that Russia’s “invasion” of Ukraine has begun.
In an interview with the BBC, Johnson added: “I’m afraid the evidence indicates that the plan, to a certain extent, has already begun to be implemented. This is what our American friends think, and you see the provocations in the Donbass, you see these explosions that we are warning “It’s been a long time ago. I’m afraid what we’re seeing reminds us of something that could be Europe’s largest war since 1945 in terms of scale.”
The British Prime Minister called on Russia to negotiate to reduce the level of tension.
“It’s time to step back,” he said. “Now is the time to engage in a serious diplomatic conversation.”
