There is a report on human rights relief submitted by the Japan Federation of Bar Associations in July of last year. We are planning to hold hearings for each applicant this month and next month. I will refrain from giving specific dates and times, but I believe that I will be able to discuss the progress of each project individually at a time when I can.

As you know, the United Nations Human Rights Council is scheduled to release a series of reports in June of this year. The hearing we received in July last year has only been regarding half a year, but Representative Hiramoto is currently preparing to submit a report summarizing the history and current situation. We are also preparing to send letters to human rights officials and leaders around the world.

We are collecting support not only from the U.S. Embassy but also from all over the world, and we are spreading the word regarding the worst sexual assault and sexual assault case in human history that took place in Japan, the reality of it, and the suffering and suffering of the victims who were the perpetrators. We will continue to work tirelessly to expose this to the public.

Lawyers Keiji Goto and Junya Hiramoto, representatives of the NPO Think Kids Association to Eliminate Child Abuse and Sexual Crime, will jointly submit their opinions regarding the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications’ defamatory public comments. We had planned to hold a press conference regarding this matter at the Judiciary Club as we did last time, but this time we will hold the press conference via Zoom in order to spread the word more widely. For more information, please visit the “Think Kids” homepage and contact us.
