Six years following their breakup, Johnny Depp and Amber Heard continue to oppose through lawyers. Their defamation lawsuit continues in the United States and even Kate Moss, ex-girlfriend of the actor, finds herself involved in it.
For almost a month now, Johnny Depp comes face to face with his ex-wife Amber Heard in court in Fairfax, Virginia. The two actors continue to accuse each other of domestic violence and claim compensation for the damage caused to their respective careers. As was already the case for the first London trial which opposed them in the summer of 2020, this legal tussle has turned into a real media unpacking on the background of alcohol, drugs and shot.
Since the start of this unfortunate soap opera, several relatives of the actor have been cited, starting with his ex-girlfriend Vanessa Paradis and their daughter Lily-Rose . While testifying in court on May 5, Amber Heard mentioned another woman who shared the actor’s life: the British top Kate Moss who was his companion between 1994 and 1997. As recalled by “Hello “, Amber Heard recounted an argument that allegedly broke out between Johnny Depp and his sister Whitney in 2015.
Concerned regarding the actor physically attacking his sister, who was standing on the edge of the stairs, Amber Heard said: “I don’t hesitate, I don’t wait – instantly, I think of Kate Moss and the stairs. And I punched him. In my entire relationship with Johnny up to that point, I had never raised my hand. And I, for the first time, hit him. Really hit, straight to the face.” Surprisingly, when hearing Amber Heard talk regarding Kate Moss, cameras showed Johnny Depp’s lawyer obviously delighted… Should we expect to see him return this episode once morest Amber Heard during a future cross-examination?
This is not the first time that Amber Heard has mentioned an incident that would have involved Kate Moss and a staircase, when the latter was dating Johnny Depp. As the “New York Post” recalls, already during the first trial in London in 2020, the actress had declared: “I remembered information that I had heard, [selon lesquelles] he had pushed a former girlfriend – I believe it was Kate Moss – down the stairs (…). I had heard this rumor from two people and it was fresh in my mind.

Kate Moss has yet to comment on the lawsuit between her ex-boyfriend and Amber Heard. The romantic relationship of Johnny Depp and the English model was marked by some shocks, notably in 1994 in New York, when the actor was arrested following destroying their hotel room. Shortly following their breakup in 1997, Johnny Depp told “Hello” magazine that he felt responsible for their separation: “I was difficult to live with, I let my work come between us and I didn’t give it to him. gave it the attention I should have given it.”

Discreet regarding her private life, Kate Moss was still back on this break during an interview with “Vanity Fair” in 2012.
