Actor John Travolta posted a short but touching tribute to his costar Grease Olivia Newton-John, on Instagram, following the announcement of her death on Monday followingnoon.

The singer and actress died on Monday morning at her ranch in southern California, which sent a wave of emotion and sadness on social networks.
The man she shared her biggest hit with, John Travolta, was one of the first to respond.
“My dearest Olivia, you have made our lives so much better. Your impact has been incredible. I love you so much. We will see you on the road once more and we will all be together once more. Yours from the first moment I saw you and forever! Your Danny, your John!” the actor wrote. Pulp Fiction.

After the success of Grease in 1978, Travolta and Newton-John had once more co-starred in the film Two of a Kind in 1982, but the film had been a commercial failure.
They had subsequently worked together on a Christmas album entitled This Christmas and released in 1982, with proceeds going to The Olivia Newton-John Cancer & Wellness Center and the Jett Travolta Foundation.
