During a recent appearance on the show We’ll tell each otherit was the turn of Joël Legendre, who hosted the popular reality show for four seasons, to react.

When Sébastien Diaz asked him how the show had changed since his days hosting, Legendre replied that it wasn’t the show that had changed.

“Nothing has changed. I would say that it is the public that has changed and that I find that extraordinary.

The 56-year-old added that he believes bullying was a big part of OD’s success.

“Intimidation was always that, and that’s what makes reality TV work. When everyone is well, there are lots of French people in the house of love, people don’t listen to that. There must be shit! To get shit, there has to be one who intimidates the other, who pushes him away, who prevents him from evolving. That’s reality TV.”

But according to him, the public has evolved and is now more sensitive to this type of issue.

He specifies that the behavior of the excluded candidates is, in his opinion, no worse than that of the candidates of other years.
