Hit in the ankle in the last minutes of the Sixers – Wolves match on Saturday, Joel Embiid gritted his teeth to end the game. Unfortunately for Philadelphia, the superstar pivot will still go through the infirmary room.
A room which is well filled at the moment since Jojo will join James Harden, Tyrese Maxey and Tobias Harris. While the Barbu has been affected in the foot since the beginning of November, Maxey has been out for three to four weeks since this weekendand that Tobi missed the last two meetings because of a sore hip, we learn via The Athletic that Embiid will not be able to participate in the two upcoming games once morest the Nets (November 22) and the Hornets (November 23), back-to-back.
76ers star Joel Embiid has a left mid-foot sprain and will miss the upcoming back-to-back games vs. Nets and Hornets. He will be re-evaluated in the coming days.

Embiid officially suffers from a sprain, he who had seen his teammate Georges Niang involuntarily fall on his foot following a passage in force. The Sixers center will be reassessed in a few days, so we can’t rule out a scenario in which his absence lasts a little more than two games. What is certain, however, is that his reunion with his former Philly teammate Ben Simmons will wait, and that’s a shame.
Without Embiid, without Harden, without Maxey and potentially without Harris for the upcoming deadlines, the Sixers will have to work hard to limit the damage, especially in this start to the season which is already not tip-top. Doc Rivers’ band just shows a balanced record of 8 wins – 8 losses, a record that might have been negative if Jojo had not really activated MVP mode in recent games.

Not surprised to see Embiid land on the injury report following the way his ankle rolled
Happy it isn’t something more significant but Ben Simmons return to Philadelphia has lost its allure with Embiid, Maxey, and Harden all outpic.twitter.com/P27LXACEDf
