A date has been set for Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner’s child custody trial.

According to court documents obtained by Us Weeklya judge ruled Tuesday (Oct. 3, 23) that the trial of the Jonas Brothers star and actress Game of Thrones would begin on January 2, in Manhattan. Last month, the American singer confirmed he had filed for divorce from the British actress following four years of marriage.
The former couple have since started a custody battle over their two daughters, Willa, three, and Delphine, 14 months. Sophie Turner argued the children should join her in England, while Joe Jonas insisted they stay in the US. Legal documents reveal that their two daughters have dual American and British citizenship.
“Joe is asking for joint custody of the children so that they are raised by both their mother and father, and he is of course also OK with the children being raised in the US and the UK “, one of his lawyers said in a statement last month.
