The English rock musician Joe Jackson (67) goes on a world tour – and Berlin is his second stop! BZ is giving away tickets for the concert.
Jackson sings Tuesday at 8 p.m. at the Theater am Potsdamer Platz (Marlene-Dietrich-Platz 1). Also on the “Sing, You Sinners!” Tour: Jackson’s band consisting of bass, guitar and drums. But the 67-year-old doesn’t need them all evening, he also wants to perform solo.
Jackson plays songs from his entire career and probably completely new songs. Again and once more he mixes rock with pop and swing. Probably his best-known song comes from 1982: “Steppin’ Out”. “You can’t get what you want (till you know what you want)” is also popular to this day.
Jackson actually wanted to start his tour in the spring – it had to be postponed because of Corona.
