A vehicle in Joe Biden’s convoy was hit by a car on Sunday, surprising the US president as he left his campaign headquarters in Delaware.

The collision of a sedan with an SUV from the convoy positioned at an intersection near the campaign headquarters, regarding 40 meters from Mr. Biden, caused a loud bang. Officers immediately stopped the silver car, registered in Delaware, and pointed their guns at the driver.

Security personnel immediately rushed the president into a waiting vehicle and took him away from the building in downtown Wilmington.
