At the beach, Biden falls high and makes the internet talk
Photos of US President Joe Biden shirtless at the beach were doing the rounds on the internet on Monday, sparking reactions from both his opponents and his supporters.

Joe – wearing bright blue shorts and a dark t-shirt, cap and sneakers – and Jill Biden then settled under an umbrella, on lounge chairs. A safe distance from the group of White House-accredited reporters following them, who were quickly escorted away from the beach.
It was only later that Eric Geller, a journalist specializing in cybersecurity who was spending the followingnoon with his family not far from there, published three photos on the X site, formerly Twitter. Two show the shirtless president, sunglasses on his nose, sneakers on his feet and a cap backwards on his head.
The American people news site TMZ released other photos, the source of which it did not indicate, and an article thus titled: “Joe reveals himself!!!”
Eric Geller explained to the Politico site that the presidential couple was surrounded by an important security device but that vacationers remained free to come and go on the beach, as long as they kept their distance.
Its publication has generated rather enthusiastic comments from supporters of the president, praising his good physical shape at 80, or believing that he deserves a vacation. On the Republican side, an official party account posted a video of the Bidens at the beach, both still duly covered, to criticize the number of vacation days taken by the Democratic president. Another unfriendly comment, on the X platform, refers to the movie “Barbie” and to this already famous line of Ken’s character, stating: “My job is only … the beach”.
