The team decided to play the international competition in San Pedro Sula.
San Pedro Sula, Honduras.
These things only happen in Concacaf. This Monday the Salvadoran team, Jocoro FC, announced that they will play their home games in Honduras for the 2023 Central American Cup.
The Cuscatleco club qualified for the contest by positioning itself as the leader of the regular rounds, being their first participation in an international tournament, although to their misfortune they will do it away from home.
Jocoro FC explained that “due to the difficulties in being able to hold our international sporting events in the stadiums of El Salvador, where no stadium has the conditions and approval of Concacaf, we have arranged in advance for other venues outside the country.”
The Jocorean team reported that it chose the Estadio Olímpico Metropolitano in San Pedro Sula to host its commitments once morest Cobán Imperial from Guatemala and Saprissa from Costa Rica.
The first duel will be held on Tuesday, August 1, while the next one will be until Thursday the 10th, with times yet to be defined, but with the invitation to the general public.

Jocoro FC has in its ranks Honduran soccer players who arrived for the next season, the case of Elmer Güity and Ever Alvarado. Catracho midfielder Júnior Padilla also plays here.
Another similar proceeding in Concacaf happens with Violette FC, a club originally from Haiti, but in international competitions its host country is the Dominican Republic, where they see action at the Cibao stadium.
