Job training in Viedma for future gastronomic employees

A group of 90 students received their certificates following finishing bartender, cooks, pastry chefs, waiters and waitresses courses that allowed them to acquire new tools to enter the world of work.

the workshops were executed by the Union of Hotel and Gastronomic Workers of the Argentine Republic (Uthgra) Atlantic section, within the framework of a sectoral agreement with the Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Security of the Nation.

Financing for the courses was provided by the national body with the collaboration of the Ministry of Labor of Río Negro, the municipality of Viedma and the Círculo Católico de Obreros.

The courses had a duration of one month, with 80 clock hours each, made up of theoretical and practical classes for the participants, who had the opportunity to continue learning and acquiring new tools to function in the workplace.

In addition, by participating in these workshops, which are certified by the National Government, some participants will be able to access the benefits of the Fomentar Empleo Program, and companies to join the labor insertion program, benefiting those that hire students who They went through these courses.
