About the French National Olympic and Sports Committee – CNOSF

The French National Olympic and Sports Committee (CNOSF) is a recognized association of public utility. It represents the Olympic movement on French territory and promotes the fundamental principles and values ​​of Olympism. He organizes and directs the French delegation to the Olympic Games and competitions sponsored by the IOC. Representing the entire sports movement in the territory, the CNOSF brings together 110 national sports federations and associated members, and their 180,000 sports associations.

The position

Attached to the International Relations Department, your main missions will be:

Support French federations in the deployment of their international relations actions

Contribute to the management and implementation of the International Support Program for Federations (PAIF):

  • Strategically direct funding to the international actions of the federations;
  • Support and advise federations on the methods of processing PAIF files and on the optimization of their support requests;
  • Prepare, lead and monitor award committees;
  • In conjunction with the federations and the Finance Department of the CNOSF, ensure the administrative and financial monitoring of the program.

Contribute to supporting CNOSF elected officials in processing application files relating to Major International Sports Events (GESI):

  • Analyze and monitor the evolution of federal requests relating to the organization of major international sporting events in France;
  • Prepare and monitor the GESI technical committees, for the elected official representing the CNOSF and in conjunction with the Interministerial Directorate for Major Sporting Events (DIGES).

Develop the CNOSF’s European policy

Support the CNOSF, its collaborators and decentralized structures:

  • Inform the federations and the CROS/CDOS/CTOS about European news;
  • Inform, train and support federations and CROS/CDOS/CTOS on the engineering of European financing;
  • Support CNOSF employees in the deployment of European cooperation actions and projects;
  • Collaborate with stakeholders in the European sports movement (European NOCs, COE, etc.).

Profile sought

Holder of a Master 2 in International Relations, European Affairs, or Political Science, you have at least two years of successful experience in this field.

You want to acquire real professional experience, and flourish in the sporting movement.

Expected skills

  • Good knowledge of the sporting environment, protocol and its international issues;
  • Fluency in oral and written English;
  • Knowledge of another European language;
  • Versatility, responsiveness, organization, autonomy and rigor;
  • Listening, team spirit;
  • Writing skills and capacity for synthesis;
  • Comfortable managing simultaneous projects;
  • Mastery of Pack Office tools and knowledge of social networks.

Regular travel abroad is to be expected.
