Job Description:

  • Responsible for files relating to corporate law, securities and governance for Quebecor and its subsidiaries;
  • Organize and coordinate certain meetings of various committees of the board of directors of Quebecor and its subsidiaries including two public companies;
  • Provide an advisory role to management on issues related to securities and governance;
  • Participate in the development of internal policies, corporate monitoring of group entities and be involved in various transactions (corporate reorganizations, due diligence, etc.);
  • Ensure management of the company secretariat team;
  • Contribute to documents related to continuous disclosure obligations in both the United States and Canada as well as the preparation of proxy solicitation circulars.


Qualifications :

  • Be a member of the Quebec Bar or the Chamber of Notaries;
  • Have a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience;
  • Have experience in litigation for a public company;
  • Have experience in personnel management;
  • Relevant experience in financing as well as in mergers & acquisitions will be considered an asset;
  • Demonstrate autonomy and initiative and demonstrate a strong ability to manage priorities and work in a team.
