The French Tennis Federation (FFT), an approved sports federation, in accordance with the legislation in force and its statutes, organizes and manages the activities of French professional tennis. It is charged by ministerial delegation with promoting, organizing and developing tennis in France, bringing together and supporting the affiliated clubs, and coordinating their activities. It is also the organizer of major international tournaments such as Roland Garros or the Rolex Paris Masters. Finally, it ensures the representation of France by the commitment of French teams in international events such as the Davis Cup, the Billie Jean King Cup or the Olympic and Paralympic Games.
The FFT will support the organization of the major sporting event of the summer of 2024, and in this context it is recruiting an assistant to the Site Technologies Referent.

The Deputy Site Technologies Referent, or Deputy Venue Technology Manager (DVTM), evolves within the Information & Digital System Pole (PSIN). He/she is actively involved in the planning, organization and delivery of the major Event 2024, as well as associated events, on the Roland-Garros site. He/she reports to the Venue Technology Manager (VTM).
► During the design and planning phases, in close collaboration with the Organizer and the VTM, he/she ensures the correct sizing and plans the installation and operation of technological services, with the teams in place at the FFT , in particular, the Venue Information Technology Manager (VITM) responsible for “Infrastructures, Operations and Support” and the Venue AV Manager responsible for “Audio & Video” infrastructures, on the following subjects:
LAN infrastructures (copper and fiber).
Mobile terminals such as telephones or walkie-talkies.
Consumer Wi-Fi connectivity.
Computer and reprographic equipment.
Giant video screens and projectors.
The sound systems deployed in buildings, in play areas, and in general public walkways.
► During operations, the DVTM is deputy head of the technology team on the competition site. He/she is the point of contact for any incident or technological request from the teams on site by coordinating his/her own team, the personnel of the Organizers and their partners, who deliver the technological services on site.
► During all these phases, the DVTM is one of the privileged interfaces for the teams: Site management (VEM), Infrastructure and design (VNI), Broadcast and Press (BRS / PRS), Energy (NRG), Logistics ( LOG), Sport and Sports Presentation (SPT / SPP).
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The technologies deployed on the Roland-Garros site are critical to the success of the major Event. The DVTM will be responsible for this within the perimeter of the Roland-Garros site. Its main responsibilities are as follows:
1/ Organize operations:
Identify and track tasks to meet key milestones expected by the IOC and its partners.
Organize the reporting of the progress of the team’s projects.
Represent the team within governance bodies, synthesize and communicate on structuring information.
Integrate newcomers into its team (IT and AV Managers and their deputies, PMO, other functions) and support their training.
Analyze and escalate operational and budgetary risks.
2/ Supervise commitments:
Find opportunities with VITMs to optimize the deployment or use of on-site technologies.
Adapt with the referent of PARIS 2024 the matrices of responsibilities between its teams and the teams of the partners in order to ensure the efficiency of the operational organization.
Propose and prioritize actions while respecting the vision and imperatives of PARIS 2024.
3 / Manage the design and planning activity of the Site:
The realization of the audit of the site and all the attached spaces.
The design of operating models adapted to the outsourcing options available.
The dimensioning of spaces and technology services within the perimeter of the site.
Preparation, deployment and operational management of all technological systems and components necessary for all operational phases of the Games (test events, rehearsals, simulations, etc.).
4/ Manage on-site operations:
Participate in all events concerning the site: Tests, Technological rehearsal, Games.
Ensure, during the days of Olympic and Paralympic competition, the guarantee of the optimal functioning of the infrastructures and solutions deployed on the sites.
Ensure the proper coordination of the IOT / AV teams on site, as well as the coordination of the stakeholders involved in the delivery of the technological services.
Supervise on-site incidents with the VTM and the VITMs and ensure their management with different priorities, respecting the SLAs described by Paris 2024.
Ensure that the site is returned in good condition in collaboration with Paris 2024 and its partners
Profile
Skills required :
A person who already has professional event experience in the field of Sport and/or other events linked to an operational site (festival, exhibition, congress, etc.)
He/she must have experience in management within an Information Systems Department.
He/she must have advanced skills in the field of Information Systems and in particular in the areas of networks, telecoms and IT infrastructure.
He / she must have a successful experience in project or program management (PMO)
He/she will have to have a sense of detail to ensure the level of quality expected for the big Event 2024.
He/she must demonstrate a good analytical mind to understand the impact of the decisions taken on the stakeholders, and an ability to synthesize to produce concise and precise reporting.
In order to guarantee the good coordination of the project, he/she must spread a team spirit and mutual aid within the on-site technology teams.
Experience in managing crisis situations and periods of high load will be an asset.
A good knowledge of sports (Tennis, Wheelchair tennis, Boxing) will help the candidate to understand the issues related to this site and the expectations of the FFT.
A very good level of English and a good intermediate level (B2) of French are expected to be able to lead the team on site, as well as the technological stakeholders and the operational functions of the Organiser.
