Founded in 2018, Paris Basketball now plays in Betclic Elite (French 1st division) and at European level in Eurocup for the second consecutive year. Since 2018, the club’s image has been managed by the YARD agency (strategic partner and lead communication) with the aim of embodying and uniting the whole of Greater Paris behind the club, starting with the basketball community.
Anchored in the culture of Greater Paris and its youth, the club’s communication aims to meet the best international standards, at all levels: performance, social media, culture, content and merchandising.
As a club collaborator, the entire mission is carried out under the supervision of the Paris Basketball teams and in close collaboration with Yard, with the aim of best responding to the club’s development challenges.
Paris Basketball is preparing to enter a new stage of its influence with the entry into the Adidas Arena, located at Porte de la Chapelle, planned for sometime in 2024.
MISSIONS
The objective is to anchor the club and the Paris Basketball brand in a more cultural and “lifestyle” dimension in order to complement the work of CM already underway, focusing on basketball performance.
Daily community management on Paris Basketball accounts Focus on a “culture” dimension: internet, music, fashion, art, etc. Social Network Monitoring (trends, news) Asset production: short videos (IG Reel, Tik Tok) Support the team in content creation Development of social communication plans Performance monitoring and analysis + reporting capacity
PROFILE
Knowledge of social networks and their best practices Knowledge of internet culture and its latest trends Knowledge of basketball and its culture Autonomous in the production and editing of short videos Mastery of Meta and Business Manager Mastery of Tik Tok and Ads Manager Fluency in written and spoken English
Permanent or freelance contract contracted by Paris Basketball, in collaboration with YARD.
