Jiří Krampol spoke from the hospital: He admitted to taking medication and spoke of great exhaustion

Actor Jiří Krampol, who was taken to the hospital by ambulance on Friday, is now out of the worst. He was transferred from the ICU to a standard bed and could go home next week, as he stated for ŽivotvČesku.cz. “I took a sleeping pill,” admitted the Czech »Belmondo«, whose voice was full of tiredness. The actor and voice actor complained about a long stay in the hospital due to problems with his knee and bronchial tubes. “Being in the hospital for three months exhausted me,” said the legendary artist.

Jiří Krampol spent a considerable part of the year in hospital. He stayed in František Hospital for almost three months because of bronchial and knee pain. After being at home for a short time, he was hospitalized again with suspected pneumonia. On Wednesday, March 20, he signed the reverse and left the hospital. Only two days later, however, he returned to the hospital bed when an ambulance took him from his apartment.

The famous actor, who will celebrate his eighty-sixth birthday this year, confirmed to ŽivotvČesku.cz that the ambulance took him away after he had taken medication. “I took a sleeping pill,” he said in a rather exhausted voice. As always, he assured that there was nothing serious about him. “I’m in a standard room at Karlák,” he said, saying he could be released next week.

Krampol also admitted that stays in hospital facilities are very exhausting for him. “I was in and out of hospitals for three months, so exhausted” added the actor. Due to knee problems, he had to walk on crutches and was prescribed two-phase training by doctors. However, according to his words, he overdid it and ended up in the care of doctors again at the end of February.

“I practice walking in two phases, in the morning I walk and exercise and in the afternoon I walk up the stairs. And I probably blew the stairs… Doctors warned me that walking can cause pain in the back area. And that’s what happened,” the artist stated for ŽivotvČesku.cz at the end of February.
