Jin’s dynamic track “I’ll Be There” has claimed the top position in this week’s new music poll, showcasing a diverse array of artists across various genres, from pop to rock and beyond.

Music enthusiasts cast their votes in a highly anticipated poll published on Friday, October 25, by Billboard, selecting the BTS star’s exhilarating solo single as their favored new music release of the week.

Jin’s “I’ll Be There” overwhelming captured nearly 95% of the poll votes, securing a commanding lead over new songs from a lineup of prominent artists, including Lady Gaga with her track “Disease,” Halsey’s anticipated single The Great Impersonator, Addison Rae’s lively “Aquamarine,” and Linkin Park’s “Over Each Other,” among others.

Jin’s effervescent bilingual tune, infused with a delightful rockabilly swing, is slated to appear on his highly anticipated debut solo album, Happy, which is set to be released on November 15.

In an exclusive video interview with Dolby Atmos shared with Billboard, the 31-year-old South Korean singer expressed his intent for the new song to “provide happiness” to his devoted fans. “When ARMY feel tired and lonely, I hope this song gives them strength,” Jin passionately remarks in the interview. “I want our fans, our ARMY, to be happy,” he asserts, reflecting his deep connection with his audience.

Jin collaborated with American singer-songwriter MAX to produce “I’ll Be There.” In the accompanying music video, he exudes rock star energy, executing air guitar windmill moves and striking Elvis-inspired poses as colorful confetti showers down around him. The clip concludes with Jin joyfully dancing solo in an abandoned parking lot, kicking up his heels against the backdrop of a picturesque sunset behind a bridge.

Jin’s six-track album Happy also features the focal track “Running Wild,” along with “I’ll Be There,” “Another Level,” “Falling,” “Heart on the Window” (feat. WENDY), and “I will come to you.” Additionally, Jin collaborated with notable acts on the album, including Take That’s Gary Barlow, who played a pivotal role in co-producing and co-writing “Running Wild.”

Trailing significantly behind Jin in this week’s poll is Lady Gaga’s “Disease,” garnering nearly 3% of the total votes. This track serves as the lead single for the acclaimed pop star and actress’ forthcoming studio album.
