The district unveiled the pioneering “Quality Products Import Demonstration Zone” at this year’s CIIE, marking a significant milestone as it is the first initiative of its kind in Shanghai. Additionally, Jing’an rolled out a comprehensive “1+N” industry high-quality development policy toolkit, encompassing various sectors including trade, finance, professional services, data intelligence, cultural creativity, and life and health. This initiative aims to cultivate an open and interconnected industrial ecosystem that fosters collaborative growth.
In recent years, Jing’an District has consistently recorded a remarkable increase in intended purchase orders at the CIIE, with this year being no exception. The district proudly announced having secured the highest number of intended purchase orders compared to all other districts in Shanghai during the event.
This year, a total of 52 companies from Jing’an actively participated in the CIIE, resulting in ten distinct groups of businesses coming to significant cooperation agreements. Notable exhibitors and buyers included prominent brands such as L’Oreal, Inditex, and doTERRA, which collectively signed several procurement and cooperation agreements. In addition, approximately twelve high-quality investment projects, with an estimated total investment of around 1 billion yuan, successfully established their presence in the district.
