JIN from the famous K-pop group, BTS, will release his first solo album in November 2024. The album is entitled Happy is scheduled for release at 14:00 local time on November 15, as announced by the singer’s agency, Big Hit Music, via fan community platform Weverse.

According to the agency, this upcoming album will convey a message about embarking on a journey to find happiness together.

Jin will share his honest thoughts on happiness while expressing his warm feelings towards fans. Happy will consist of six songs covering various genres, all inspired by the band’s sound.

A short video was posted on BTS’s official social media on Tuesday (15/10), giving a glimpse of the atmosphere of this album.

The video features colorful shapes exploding with pop sounds, evoking a lively party feel.

In October 2022, Jin managed to reach the 51st position on the US Billboard Hot 100 with his solo single The Astronaut. He has also performed solo songs such as Awake, Epiphany, And Moon through BTS albums.

As the oldest member of BTS, Jin completed his mandatory military service in June this year and participated as a torchbearer at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
