On January 4, the Jiangsu Provincial Meteorological Observatory issued an orange warning for heavy fog: Nanjing, Zhenjiang, Changzhou, Huai’an, Lianyungang and other places, as well as some areas in Suzhou, Wuxi, Nantong, Taizhou, Yangzhou, Suqian and Xuzhou, have experienced severe fog with visibility less than 200 meters. Affected by this, special-level (road closure) traffic control measures have been implemented on highways across the province.
