Giovanny Andrés Díaz, the stepfather of Jerónimo Angulo Arcila, the three-year-old minor, whose body was found in the El Jordán ravine in the La Aguadita village in the municipality of Fusagasugá, Cundinamarca, arrived at the Cómbita prison in the last few hours in Boyacá.

In the company of agents from the Technical Investigation Corps (CTI), he arrived handcuffed at the prison where he will remain while the investigation against him continues for the disappearance and murder of the minor, who at the time of his death was under his care.

In context:

His transfer is part of the order issued by a Guarantee Control judge who considered that, due to his dangerousness, he should be deprived of his liberty and that is why he imposed a security measure.

The evidentiary material elements collected by the Judicial Police agents of the Technical Investigation Corps (CTI) made it possible to obtain abundant technical and scientific evidence (including film records from the sector’s security cameras) in which the alleged murderer can be observed when He was carrying in his hands a bag with characteristics similar to the one found with the victim’s body.

The minor’s stepfather reported the child’s disappearance, stating that, when he was under his care, he let him play outside his home while he went to a nearby store and when he returned he could not find him.

Subsequently, the Prosecutor’s Office, through the CTI and in coordination with uniformed officers from SIJIN, Children and Adolescents of the National Police and the Military Gaula of the National Army, carried out the investigative work that allowed the body of the child to be found.
