The passing of his brother Wim left an indelible mark, prompting Jeroen to re-evaluate his priorities and find joy in the simpler things. “I don’t need champagne or Ferrari to have a good time. I’m happy with what I have. I have made a good journey so far, and every now and then I look back and conclude that we have done well. Life is brutal in some ways, but at other times it is incredibly fair,” he reflects.
