JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – Defendant musician I Gede Aryatisna alias Jerinx sentenced to 2 years in prison for the alleged threat of violence once morest social media activist Adam Deni.
The lawsuit was read by the public prosecutor (JPU) in a follow -up hearing held on Friday (18/2/2022) at the Central Jakarta District Court (PN).
“Demanding defendant I Gede Aryatisna alias Jerinx with a sentence of 2 years in prison minus the prison term for alleged threats of violence,” said Prosecutor I Gede Eka Hariana in the trial.

After the prosecutor read out the lawsuit, the jury invited Jerinx to say something.
Jerinx’s legal team then admitted that they objected to the claim and planned to read the plea at the next trial.
“We will defend both from the attorney and from our own legal counsel. On the same day, together with the defendant,” said Philip Tarigan, Jerinx’s attorney.

Furthermore, the hearing for the reading of Jerinx’s defense will be held on Tuesday (22/2/2022), at 09.00 WIB with the defense of the defendant Jerinx and his legal advisor.
Meanwhile, Jerinx has been charged with violating Article 29 Jo Article 45 of the ITE Law and Article 27 Paragraph (4) Jo Article 45 Paragraph (4) of Law No. 19 of 2016 on Amendments to Law No. 11 of 2008 on ITE.
