A year following the accident that almost took his life, Jeremy Renner returned to the hospital where he was treated. He reflected on the fatal event as a valuable experience.
At the beginning of the new year 2023, the actor was known to be operating a snowplow when he was swept under it. The Hawkeye star suffered very serious injuries including blunt force trauma to the chest and suffered 30 broken bones.
Jeremy Renner was transported via helicopter to the ICU at the hospital. One year following the incident, he shared a photo on his Instagram account of his trip to the same hospital when he was treated.
In an Instagram post, Jeremy Renner said, “Passing through Reno, NV with joy, blessings, and pizza!!! Stop by to see the kids/super heroes, first responders, and Renown’s doctors, nurses, and hospital staff. “
“I pay tribute and celebrate the love, life and blessings given to us all. Thank you to this community for keeping me here. I am forever indebted to you with deep gratitude,” the actor wrote.
Recently, Jeremy Renner confirmed that he is ready to return to work following recovering from the accident. In January, he will begin filming new episodes of the Paramount+ series entitled Mayor of Kingstown. The series will enter its third season.
During the restoration period, Jeremy Renner also appeared in the Disney+ documentary series Rennervations, which featured the actor partnering with several of his celebrity friends to restore vehicles in unique ways.
In an interview with Jimmy Kimmel, Jeremy Renner once said that he was grateful that the accident that almost killed him did not affect his brain.
“And that’s just regarding every one of his vertebrae. It’s not regarding any organ or my brain,” he said.
